CLASS CHALET CHANGED

Hi all, here to inform you that the class chalet has changed from the aloha changi to costa sands pasir ris because the original one was unavailable alr. Everything like the dates and price to pay per person is still same... we won't be having a bbq but on the day we'll order Kfc or pizza hut for the class kk. Its from the 20 dollars that each of you are paying.. ;D

Check in time is at 0230, so we'll meet at Pasir Ris MRT first at like.. 0145? I will send each of you an sms to confirm. So here goes. Rmb to bring 20 dollars for chalet, and a little more just in case for yourself.

It's finaally confirmed! The same chalet as mentioned before, and prices for each person would be $20. After discussion we decided not to hold a bbq, but if u all want tag or sms me k, thats tentative. Everybody bring some tidbits, and this is ky's idea-> tidbit party. So thats that.
Next bring some money except the 20 dollars which u all must pay on the day of the chalet. Money all goes to ky ;D he'll be collecting frm u all, and me too. Den bring clothes for those who are staying overnight. Bring anything fun too, like mahjong or poker or whatever. board games also can just something we all can play together.
Any questions ask ky or me. Mr Lim is very kind to help us pay first; and And Mrs Karen Lim too. Rmb to bring your money k! Cause we'll need to return Mrs Lim.

Class chalet almost confirmed

Hey u guys, class chalet is almost confirmed, although the dates were a tad later then i would have liked them to be, but we didn't have much of a choice really, its either these dates or next january.. So now we've confirmed the check in time, check out time, what bungalows we will be taking in the chalet.. etc, i'm just waiting to sort out the final details with Mrs Lim. Here goes:
Netheravon Terrace Bungalow
D->26th november, one night
F->27th november, one inght
Total cost: 250$/night, 2nights/$50
I'll inform you guys about the check in check out time soon enough.

Everyone must try their best to come please, efforts have been taken by us to organise this.. And i need u all to bring 10+ dollars to contribute for the chalet, try to contribute as much as you can k, i'll be giving 30$ myself.

We have decided on the location of the chalet. By we, i mean me and ky.. The chalets will be at Changi, And the chalets are all under Aloha. We have decided on 3 choices, based on size and pricing, however, details can't be told yet, and can't really be confirmed as i need to call them before i can book or tell you guys anything. And i can't call now as they are alr closed.. i will try my best to plan this thing, so rest assured..

Ok. time to say.
to those who thinks class are not well bonded:

some of the people thinks our class maybe not bonded as before.
After some of you are attached, well, the class isn't bonding.
Here to say: well. we have to give them some "space". freedom.
It's hard for them to balance well between love and friends. especially when their
loved ones is in same class.
We can't expect them to like stick to the friends most of the time.
They got their own partner so sometimes when they 2 go their own ways
we have to understand.
If you're the one in love, you sure will want to stay with your loved ones
most of the time won't you?
And they are trying hard to bond. we can see.
like*****sorry to use you as example) ,
He still hang out with zihan and javier and walks around in class.
than sometimes go find his ahem and still bond with his ahem's group of friends what.
maybe you just say he only hang out with this 2 groups.
but the problem is well
sometimes we only hang out with some people because
we're used to them.
we're close to them.
our characteristics are matching.
than why not other groups?
some of the other groups like ning feng group
they got people like xiaochen.
they're from china and when they know that both have similar "thing"
they tend to trust each other more than others.
and have more things to share with each other.

But gloria, still in contact with her friends and does not just concentrate in

maybe they're not those outgoing type.
but did anybody try to stay with them and make them associate with other people?
no right? is like than you all say maybe he or she is not bonded with class.
but the main thing is, they need someone who knows the class well
to tell them more about the class so that they know more about the class
and hence speaks up more.

they need their freedom.
after being attached, you know that you have to sacrifice for your love ones.

zzz.. Nothing better to do is it? So 无聊, go take pictures of us... Btw, I can explain both pictures...

firstly, the picture about walking back home, well... Don't you all know that I often chat with heng kang and mon hsien? So... That day, i walked to the bus stop with them. Who's idea is it to bring sharon along? Not me, you don't believe then just ask her la... Besides she never check the blog de so she what she says is correct and have no form of covering up... Besides, what's wrong with walking with friends back from school? It's not as though we walk with a girl = we like the girl or something...

next, the picture in the IT Room 4, i think i was teaching heng kang with some rubber band tricks... And he don't know how to do, that's why I patted him on the back to encourage him... And about sharon? Well, I don't know about her, she was just sitting behind us. What is her intention? Ask her yourself...

Finally, about the one taking the picture of us... Whoever it is, do you know that it is very rude to take picture of someone without the person knowing it? No, I won't accept the excuse that it is a joke or whatever. You ought to be shameful of yourself... From what I know... It should be either Kai Ting or Zi Qin... Why I say either one of you? Because I saw both of you walking down the same path home as us... So most likely one of you... And higher chance is Zi Qin, cos
1. Zi Qin was one of those that spead the rumour about Me, Heng Kang and Sharon... Along with Javier and Vivian
2. Zi Qin has a portable camara and is more likely to take the picture...

Who suggested the idea? Maybe it's Kai Ting... But there is a chance that Zi Qin took the picture at her own will...

Hey. Our shirt will be in light blue k. not so light. than got white strand ma. than still want white font? want dark pink font??? Anybody? It's nice though. Or grey also can.

Than erm when you all choose the font, pls think about how it will look like when print on shirt. than the design cannot be tooooo wordy because it will not look good or mean look terrible on our tee. I decide not to put any logo or pictures liao. you know when we going to sell the badges, we can make badges with onion logo. haha than can also support class too. so gloria ok? i also don know leh the bazaar coming in 2 weeks time!! i wan class tee. than er DON TOO wordy. Come on guys , what’s with this statement? I know the things happening in between us is getting rather complex and complicated but ya as kahyong says we are 2 harmony la. There may be lots of unhappiness and misunderstandings but ya its rather bad to come out with phrases , posts and comments to scold that person on the blog lah. I know its very annoying , something that she did really is OMGOMG damm irritating lah but its not very nice you know to like just come straight to the point. Try standing in the person’s shoe and think. She might have really done wrong in any sense and in any way but it can really be veryvery hurting to like post such post in blogs. I wont bother a single thing if you post it in your own blogs but I really really hope that no such things on class blogs because its like rather global. I’m not helping her in any sense but I hope that ya dun do such things. And P.e. shorts look so much nicer than the ex-navy blue ones.
Overall, the shirt and shorts look better,
though I kinda feel that the shirts looks like WUSHU shirts,
and the shorts look like those for playing table-tennis.
Quality also better.

Oh ya, the new uniforms and P.E. attire are not compulsary to be bought, So yeaps we can stick to the old uniform!:D Andand dunno who say that english lit assignment due-date might be postponed as the book keeps running out of stock.

Firstly, designs and stuff. I left a tag but this MIGHT be clearer. For the class notice board design, I have already thought of a design BUT I will need a kind onion with a colour printer that has loads of ink to spare to print out some class pics for me(: For the recycling bins, I need someone to help me come up with a creative yet cheap design. Though we won this year, I spent a total of $25!! But I'm kind, I didn't claim everything. :D And one last thing. I went to check on our plot of land in the gardens this holidays and it was full of weeds. So who would like to stay for a gardening date when school reopens? Ok, everyone. This is Chanel. I've written the poem of I HM (yes, I know it's MONTHS overdue...I'm so sorry...but inspiration came too late)

Ahem. Yeah, so sorry once again.

Here it is:

Different people, different roots
Started as strangers, hesitant smiles
Unknowingly a bond begins to fruit
Now united we stand, unafraid of trials.

Debates argued, challenges issued
Passion-filled, determined not to lose
Noise pollution made, detentions endured
Glaring frustrated at lectures galore.

Recesses spent playing, going wild

regarding why the chalet is 2 day 1 night and the rooms are single storey.

well, chalets are cheaper on sunday. If we want to book the night on monday, we MUST book their package, which includes 4 escape theme park tickets and it's totally nt worth it. the cost of 1 night chalet on sunday now is $140 while the cost for a monday 1 night chalet package would be $258. there are people who have cca on monday and we have to try and accommodate them. There is also quite a handful of ppl whom their parents only allowed them to stay one night.

and why is it one storey? because the 2 storey chalet rooms went out =.=. but the one storey chalet rooms hav bigger bedrooms.

and lastly..why pasir ris costa sands, nt others? cux pasir ris costa sands hav bigger rooms, own bbq pit and free shuttle bus and quite a number of our classmates stay around that area. and costa sands resort is cheaper compared to others.

i had great fun planting the chinese celery seeds 2day, esp wif some great ONIONS !! n while i was at it, i suddenly realised dat in this society, we rarely haf time 2 spend wif our loved 1s, such as our family n friends. that's y i've included this story, hopefully 2 set u thinking:

When things in your life seem almost 2 much 2 handle, when 24 hours in a day r not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar n the coffee...

A professor stood b4 his philosophy class n had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large empty mayonnaise jar n proceeded 2 fill it wif golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full.They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles n poured them in2 the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled in2 the open areas between the golf balls He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand n poured it in2 the jar. Naturally, the sand filled up everything else. He asked 1s more if the jar was full. The students responded with an infamous "yes." The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table n poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space btween the sand. The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want u 2 recognize that this jar represents ur life. The golf balls r the important things. Ur family, ur faith, ur health, ur friends, etc. Things dat if everything else was lost n only they remained, your life will still b full. The pebbles r the other things that matter. Ur job, ur house, ur car. The sand is everything else. The small stuff. "If u put the sand in2 the jar 1st," he continued, "there is no room 4 the pebbles or golf balls. The same goes 4 life. If u spend all ur time n energy on the small stuff, u will never haf room 4 the things that r important 2 u. Pay attention 2 the things dat r critical 2 ur happiness. Play wif ur children. Take time 2 get medical checkups. Take ur partner out 2 dinner. There'll always b time 2 clean the house n fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls 1st, the things that really matter. Set ur priorities. The rest is just sand."

1 of the students raised her hand n inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad u asked. It juz goes 2 show dat no matter how full ur life may seem, there's always room 4 a couple of cups of coffee wif a friend."

Heya harmONIONS!! Todae, Xinhui, Leefang, Chinyee, Clairene and I planted Chinese Celery seeds at the "kitchen garden" and we had a SUPER DUPER UBER GR8 time!! We were planting and making the soil fertile like farmers so we decided to recite the tang2 shi1 about farmers while aerating the soil. Then after that our mood changed and we started singing (or TRYING to sing) symphony no.5 while planting! :D Anyway, here are the TOP 15 pics! Will post videos when free!

Ok, to every onion who is somewhere out there !! Listen up 'cause we've got some pretty good news 2 share with you: In the very 1st netball inter-class tournament against 1MD yesterday, we won (Score: 6-5)... Close fight, i have 2 say. But a win is a win and the very following pple have made not just us but also themselves super proud:shuk kan,our team's very own netball captain), clairene, gao xiang, po- yang, yan zhan, pearl and sze min.
N also, there was not a doubt that the no. of supporters was a huge suprise 2 us... gloria, lee fang, hui ting, xian wei, nigel and kah yong(sorry if i left ur name out...) -- every1 of us appreciates ur being there :) we r very grateful 4 ur support +_+

Everybody.. we have won the champianship for the volleyball interclass !! =) Anyway, todae's match with DL and BN was quite close.. but we still won as a team! ( Our long hours of training have not failed us! )

Todae first match was against BN.

1st set ---------- 15 vs 05
2nd set --------- 08 vs 15
3rd set ---------- 15 vs 12
This match was the most pressurizing, especially 2nd set and i could tell everyone was getting really nervous. Sze Min and Gao Xiang's hands turned cold and Po Yang got really pale. I was almost about to give up and Timothy was also getting really ji1 dong4. Thankfully, we won the last match! Or else..
Now here are the results of the match versus DL.

2nd set 15 vs 13
This match was more qing1 song1 somehow.. but 2nd match we like not tat serious, kept on cracking jokes while playing and we were laughing like throughout the whole set. Now then i realise.. I tink this match we played better cause everybody served over many times which is good! I tink thats all for matches..

After the match.. everybody was hugging and Hi-5ing each another. We were like so happy! Anyway, this match has strengthened our bond as a class and help us work as a team.

Hey Harmonians, todae was the quite interesting match.. HM vs MD!=)
And once again.. we have WON! And three times in a row too! Todae was gr8, everybody including me could serve over the net and Gao Xiang spiked around five times! And todae everybody managed to catch at least 5 balls!
First set, we won 15 vs 10 (not tat sure is it correct) and second set, we won 15 vs 13. Second match was really close but we still won MD!!Todae we had like so many supporters! Including Mr Teo, Shuk Kan, Kah Yong, Nigel, Jeanette, Xin Zi and Kai Ting. ( Sorry if i left ur name out..) Thank You so much!
So the finals will be tomorrow, vs BN and DL. Pleeease, Pleeease support us tomorrow... The first match should be at 2.30 pm so please at least stay back to watch e first match.. Thank you for your support harmonians!! =D

Okay people, seriously, don't you guys want your CLASS TEE? First things first, what colour you want the class tee to be?

Do the poll. If any harmonions out there have a class tee proposal or something, please post your proposal up to the class blog. Draw on computer or with hand also can, up to you, anyways it's just a proposal. Then if the proposal only got 1, then we'll take that, if anyone don't agree on the one and only proposal submit a proposal yourself or I also don't know how..

Everybody.. today was volleyball interclass harmonians vs fgians! And i am proud to say we have *drumroll* WON! And if there was such a prize, we would have won most comical team! Ok.. we had 2 sets with fg and we won both sets!!! =)
First set.. we not really warmed up but still won 15-12. We hit so many out balls out then also got a lot of balls quite wasted..
Second set! Fully warmed up! And .. Gao xiang shows his true power in serving! Po Yang blocked a lot of balls tat fg couldnt catch! Timothy, Sze Min, Xin Hui and I saved a great number of balls! We won 15-6!! And our libero KAH YONG although you did not play today, your support for us helped us a gr8 deal! And NIGEL.. thks for staying back until 4 plus just to cheer and support us! Other supporters.. Vivien. Chin Yee. Sheila. Pearl. Yan Zhan. Wei Qi. Clairene. Brenice. ( hope i did not miss anyone out if not sorry, no offence).. although you peeps were a bit late.. thks for even making an effort to come all the way down to support us! =))
